Total global supply

  • ‌Driven by crushing volume‌ : The global soybean crushing volume is expected to reach 366.5 million tons‌ (a year-on-year increase of 3%). Based on an oil yield of 18%-20%, the soybean oil supply is about 66 million tons‌ (a year-on-year increase of 2%-3%).
  • Regional differentiation :
    • ‌North America‌ : U.S. crush increased to 2.49 billion bushels (↑2.9%), but a 3.6% reduction in planted area could constrain long-term supply.
    • ‌South America‌ : Brazil's soybean production hit a record 175 million tons (↑3.6%), but logistics bottlenecks and the risk of local production cuts (such as a 7% cut in Mato Grosso state) constrained actual output.
    • ‌Asia‌ : China’s soybean imports fell to 95.8 million tons (↓2.8%) as crushing volume shrank; India’s low tariff policy stimulated a surge in import demand.

Structural adjustment of equipment demand‌

  1. ‌Upgrading the crushing capacity‌

    • Due to the increase in global crushing volume, the demand for high-efficiency and energy-saving equipment has increased, especially flexible production lines that are compatible with multiple oilseeds (soybeans/rapeseed/sunflower seeds).
  2. Deep processing technology iteration

    • The trend of healthy consumption promotes the upgrading of low-temperature pressing, refining and purification equipment to meet the production demand of high-oleic acid, low-erucic acid and other high-end oil products

In 2025, QIE GROUP's soybean oil refining production line will accelerate its iteration towards high efficiency, low carbonization and intelligence:

  • The leaching process is the leading extraction process, and multi-stage refining is the core of quality assurance;
  • Policy-driven equipment upgrades, modular design + flexible production are the key to capacity optimization;
  • Model selection needs to balance compliance (material/process) and economy (capacity matching)

QIE GROUP is a professional soybean oil refining manufacturer. If you want to build a refining production line, please tell us your daily processing volume. We also support turnkey projects.
